It wasn’t until his friend and former neighbor Tom Aronson came to Boulder in 2019 when they collaborated and started CHAMP Enterprises. In this pursuit, they quickly established a hemp bedding program with thoroughbred horses. This testing period proved to be very informative, and due to the positive feedback from the horse community hemp bedding was birthed as an foundational product for the business.
Today, Graham has spread his love of hemp bedding and garden hemp mulch to farms and yards all over Colorado.
During his free time, he enjoys traveling, backpacking and swimming holes with his wife Cathy and daughters Peyton and Lexie Bowe.

Tom Aronson is president and founder of Racing Resource Group, Inc. (RRG), a professional services company established in 1989 that specializes in equestrian sports and horse-related entertainment and recreation. The company’s wide range of engagements over more than three decades form the foundation of what is now a comprehensive, practical knowledge of the horse industry and its operational, financial and promotional elements.
His experience includes executive-level management; start-up organization, operation and funding; new product development and marketing; analysis and demographics; studies and reports including business feasibility and projections; and direct involvements with federal and state officials, regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and technology companies. Basically, if it has to do with horses, horse people or horse businesses, Tom Aronson is a go-to expert in the field.

Zev focuses on sourcing raw hemp material and develops strategic partnerships with hemp manufacturers and customers.
Zev’s involvement with industrial hemp began in late 2012 when he founded the National Hemp Association (NHA) to support hemp farmers and businesses. He and served as the Executive Director of NHA from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, Zev created Herb-a-lites, one of the first U.S. smokable and edible hemp distributors in the nation, and worked closely with retail outlets to include Herb-a-lites products on their shelves. He was also the co-founder of the HEMP Marketplace, the first online hemp-exclusive platform for connecting hemp buyers and sellers in all aspects of the sector. He also serves as a Subject Matter Expert to insurance companies, and law firms needing assistance in representing their clients in legal matters.
In 2020, Zev was elected to Chair the Hemp Industries Association Fiber and Hurd Council, a working group to accelerate the development of the fiber and seed sector of the hemp industry. Zev is also the co-founder of Abraham Paiss & Associates, Inc where he is a consultant to hemp farmers, businesses, and organizations, and serves as a Hemp Subject Matter Expert for law firms and insurance companies.
When not working for hemp, Zev lives with his wife Neshama and two daughters in an intentional cohousing community in Boulder where he has been a founding resident since 1997.
